Our Materials

Innovation in Fluoropolymer. Customized High-Performance material for Demanding Applications.

Why Fluoropolymers

With the best chemical and thermal resistance known in the market, fluoropolymers are ideal materials for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical processing. The best features of our PTFE materials: resistant to chemical attacks and much higher service temperatures. See more materials below, and find out what we can do to support your polymer requirements.

PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene

PTFE is one of the most chemically inert materials known and is used in many different applications and industries.

PTFE is an incredibly versatile material with a wide variety of applications. It has extreme chemical resistance, a massive temperature range, is completely unaffected by UV, excellent electrical insulation properties. Flexible, low friction, inert.

PTFE Compounds

Dechengwang supplies standard and custom make types of PTFE compounds, also known as PTFE Compounds. Specific fillers and reinforcements are added to the virgin PTFE (i.e. Glass Fibers, Bronze powder, Carbon Fibers, Graphite, pigment, etc.) modifying the original properties to fulfill the customer’s specific requirements.

Fillers are added as a percentage of weight typically starting as low as a few percents up to 50%.

PEEK - Polyetheretherketone

PEEK (polyetheretherketone) offers excellent chemical compatibility and a combination of exceptional properties. It shows and exceptional high resistance to bending and traction and PEEK parts can be used continuously up to 260°C.

PEEK is used in a wide range of industries including medical technology, cable and electrical, aircraft and automotive, machine and apparatus construction industries. Available in pure PEEK and PEEK compounds type.

PFA

PFA has an outstanding chemical resistance, even at elevated temperature. It is resistant to strong mineral acids, inorganic bases, and inorganic oxidizing agents and to most of the organic compounds and their mixtures common in the chemical industry.

Because of the high strength between Carbon, Fluorine and Oxygen atoms, PFA exhibits similar properties to PTFE over a large range of temperatures. Some other differences from PTFE are: Good permeability resistance because of lower void content and better deformation (Cold flow) resistance.

PVDF

PVDF (polyvinylidenfluoride) is characterized by an excellent chemical resistance coupled with good mechanical properties. Its extremely stable structure gives the PVDF a great resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents, acids, alkalis and oils. PVDF is recognized among all fluorothermoplastic to have the maximum resistance to high-energy radiation and, immediately after PTFE, PVDF is the most weather resistant fluoropolymer.

PVDF is typically applied in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, medical and semi-conductor industry. Compared to other fluoropolymers, PVDF has an easier melt process because of its relatively low melting point.

PCTFE - Polychlorotrifluoroethylene

PCTFE is well suited for cryogenic parts such as ball valve seats & seals. Dechengwang typically molds and machines the PCTFE components.

PCTFE is a tough, durable fluoroplastic that exhibits unique physical and mechanical properties.
